A few weeks ago our grandson was part of a group of “midis” who attended the Scotland squad training session at Clydebank. At the end of the session there was the usual autograph signing. On approaching our lads Jonny Gray jokingly said that he couldn’t sign anything as he had played for Cambuslang as a lad and “Dalziel were our arch enemies”.
He of course signed programmes etc and when he had finished said. “ah Dalziel, what great memories I have of playing at the Dalziel Festival”
Good luck to everyone involved with the Festival on Saturday and here’s hoping that in a few years’ time another Scotland Great will be reminiscing about Saturday’s [b]Dalziel Festival.[/b]
