Competition Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before entering the competition.

1. Participation in the Dalziel RFC “Fill the Stand - Win a Grand” competition costs £10 per entry. There is no discount for Season Ticket members of Dalziel RFC.
2. Entry to the competition is not required for entry to the match.
3. Profits from this competition will support the work of Dalziel RFC.
4. It is an offence for tickets to be sold to, or by, a person under 16 years of age. If anyone is found to be under 16, they will automatically forfeit their right to a prize.
5. Payment for participation in the competition is strictly by cash, but can be made in advance of the draw date.
6. Competition tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
7. The draw will take place at half time of the Dalziel 1st XV v Lenzie at Dalziel Park in Tennent's West Division 1. (scheduled date 2nd September 2023, 3pm Kick off)
8. A ticket entitles the holder to entry to the prize draw, entry to the above mentioned rugby match, an allocated seat in the stand, a match programme (subject to availability) and a pie/soup and soft drink (subject to availability) from the club house on production of the ticket.
9. Allocated seats in the stand are seats A1 to F48. Row G in the stand will be available, but a certain number of seats will be reserved for match day requirements.
10. In the event of the game being postponed, the ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. Please check the website close to the draw date for any updated information.
11. Winning entries will be randomly drawn in the presence of two witnesses. Prizes are as follows:
    First prize: 33% of the prize fund (subject to a maximum of £1000)
    Second prize: 10% of the prize fund (subject to a maximum of £250)
    Third prize: 5% of the prize fund (subject to a maximum of £100)
    
    For example:
    If 200 tickets are sold, First prize will be £667, Second prize £200 and Third prize £100.
12. The winners will be notified within one week after the draw by telephone or by post where a telephone number is not available.
13. A list of the winner's names and winning seats will be posted on our website.
14. Winners may be asked to be photographed and interviewed to provide a quote about winning in order to promote the work of Dalziel RFC.
15. Dalziel RFC is licensed by North Lanarkshire Council to conduct this competition. The license is held by the club secretary and can be viewed on written request.
