Dalziel 1st XV 43 v 0 Annan
Dalziel arrived at Annan’s Violet Park intent on winning the league title. On a pleasant spring evening they set about the task in hand encouraged by the travelling support.

From the kick off Dalziel mounted pressure on the Annan defence and on 10 minutes were rewarded when Robert Simpson kicked behind the Annan defence for Fraser Duguid to score. Simpson converted and Dalziel were 7 points ah...

U18 Lose in Semi Final
The U18 team lost the Semi Final of the Bowl competition to a physically stronger Dunfermline team by 20 v 3.

Dalziel started very strongly and went ahead from a penalty by Ryan Watters. Dalziel kept the pressure on and had penalty oppertunities to extend the lead but could not take advantage. Dunfermline came back into the match and scored from a drop goal and just before half time converted a pe...

No training on Tuesday night
There will be no senior training at dalziel park on Tuesday night. This will allow as many players as possible to travel to Annan to hopefully see the 1st team win the league. Training will resume on Thursday night as normal.
It is important that every player attends training on Thursday night as all teams have big league games next saturday.

Sinclair and Charnley Step Down as Club and Assistant Coach
Regretfully Jimmy Sinclair, Club Coach since season 2008/09, has had to step down from his role on advice from his medical team. Jimmy will be sadly missed by the Club as he was instrumental in many ways in the Club achieving it's primary goal of promotion from National 1, a feat that he accomplished in just two seasons.

Jimmy and Lee's contribution should not be underestimated with training numb...

Dalziel 2nd XV 33 v 5 Currie
Dalziel 2nds travelled to Edinburgh on Tuesday night to play a rearranged National 2nd XV League fixture against Scotland’s top placed club, Premier 1 Currie. On a fine evening the Motherwell boys set about their task and produced one of the finest performances I have seen in many years

From the kick of Dalziel pushed into Currie territory and were rewarded after 5 minutes with a penalty, conver...

Dalziel 2nds win away at Currie
The 2nd team produced a magnificent display this evening to defeat Currie 2nds 33-5 away in what must be the best 2nd team result in recent history. The forwards were dominant throughout and the backs ran at pace with depth every time they had the ball. Excellent continuity and support play rugby saw Dalziel score 5 tries to secure a famous bonus point victory.
Well done to everyone concerned, es...
