Dalziel 1st XV 8 v 10 Howe of Fife

Dalziel started their cup campaign against Premier 1 side Boroughmuir on Saturday.

The weather conditions were dreadful but to the credit of the ground staff the pitch was in very good condition and both sides took the field for the first meeting between the clubs.

Dalziel 1st XV 20 v 29 Cartha Queens Park
Dalziel continued their league campaign at Cartha on Saturday, and after a good weeks training and game analysis were confident they could take something from the match.

The Motherwell men got off to the worst possible start and conceded a try after one minutes play. This stunned them into action and by 10 minutes the score was level at 5 points each after Anton Mitchell scored a well worked try...

Dalziel 1st XV 19 v 9 Ardrossan Academicals
On a warm autumn afternoon Dalziel welcomed Ardrossan to Dalziel Park for the first game between the clubs in 3 years. With the teams lying third and fourth in the league this had all the makings of a tight game.

3s Game
A very weak and understrength 3s took the short trip to Coatbridge to play Way/drum on Saturday. Where, with a mixture of youth and age, were seriously hammered by a well drilled and eager Waydrum side. With the home team on the attack right from the first whistle, the visitors were going to have a very hard afternoon. With the under 18s, drafted in at the last minute to cover for the no shows, do... More...
