Super Sunday: Biggar
Here is the latest: The Biggar festival is ON this Sunday. We meet at the Health Centre at 10.30am or, if going direct, be at Biggar for 11.30am for a 12 noon KO.

IF IN DOUBT, SIT THEM OUT
Scotland has become the first country in the world to introduce standard guidelines for dealing with concussion in sport. The guidelines were launched today in Glasgow by Peter Robinson, whose son Ben tragically lost his life after a double concussion in a school rugby match. S1/S2 latest: Attention wide awakers - and porridge makers
Tomorrow sees the Hamilton Festival with the S1 tournament kicking off at 10am and the S2s on at 1pm.
Could all S1s be over at Hamilton (121 Bent Road, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire ML3 6PY) for 9:15am or if you need a lift meet at the Windmillhill health centre at 9am.
Remember that this is a tournament with matches against Hamilton, Livingston and GHA so we need as many players as possible.

S1/S2 UPDATE
Here is the news:

Thur 7th May - Training at Dalziel Park as normal 7:30 till 9pm.
NOTE - Still to be confirmed however there may be a trial at 7pm for any of the current S2 players who would like to get into the Dalziel Rugby Academy after the summer.

(2) Sun 10th May - Away match v Cumnock (55 Auchinleck Road , Cumnock , East Ayrshire , KA18 1AN) - Please meet in the car park of the Windmil...

ATTENTION ALL S1/S2 PLAYERS, PARENTS AND FANS . . .
This Sunday, 3rd May, both S1/S2 teams have been invited to a tournament at GHA (Glasgow Hutchesons' Aloysians Rugby Football Club, Braidholm Road, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 6EB)
The S1 and S2s are in separate competitions at the same time - so we will need as many players there as possible!
If you can't make it or the boys need a lift then please let Ian know ASAP.

SILVER ANNIVERSARY OF SHOWCASE RUGBY FESTIVAL SETS THE GOLD STANDARD
THIS coming weekend marks the 25th annual Festival of Youth Rugby at Dalziel Park – promising an action-packed event for all the family.
For the eighth year running, the Festival is dedicated to the memory of the man who started it all in 1991, Alan Calder.

The following is an update of what's going on over the next few weeks:

(1) Thursday 16th Apr - Training at Dalziel Park (7.30 till 9pm.) Note be prepared for training on either grass or the astro.
