Six second half tries get Dazzlers back to winning ways

Dalziel 1st XV 19 v 9 Ardrossan Academicals
On a warm autumn afternoon Dalziel welcomed Ardrossan to Dalziel Park for the first game between the clubs in 3 years. With the teams lying third and fourth in the league this had all the makings of a tight game.

Dunfermline Match Report
After 7 games in the Scottish Hydro Electric Premiership 3 league, Dalziel sit in third position behind the only two teams to have beaten them so far. Saturday saw the boys travel to bottom of the league Dunfermline, who were desperate to record their first win of the season, especially as their old coach Davie Wilson is now in charge of the Motherwell Boys.

A very weak and understrength 3s took the short trip to Coatbridge to play Way/drum on Saturday. Where, with a mixture of youth and age, were seriously hammered by a well drilled and eager Waydrum side. Delightful Dalziel Defeat Old Foes Howe: DRFC 39 HOF 11
The Heavens opened over Britain this weekend and Motherwell was no exception, as the Dalziel Park surface was subjected to a heavy downpour on & off throughout the afternoon, for the game against Howe of Fife. The Dalziel boys were looking to bounce back after a defeat to local rivals Hamilton last week, and, in relation to league standings it was vital for the Motherwell boys to secure a win.

Dazzlers v Cumnock
On a day best suited to Ryder cup golf the 3s looked to get back to winning ways against Cumnock. With the injury list growing and players unavailable due to work the 3s drafted in under 18 duo Euan Watt and Darren Moon for their senior debuts. Dalziel 1st XV 24 v 37 Hamilton
Dalziel arrived at Leigh Bent to play the first game on Hamilton's new pitch. It was a perfect day for rugby and both sets of supporters were anticipating a great match. They were not let down by the two sides who from the kick off played a high intensity game

Dalziel v Musselburgh
Dalziel hoped to get back to winning ways at home to Musselburgh on Saturday and from the kick off looked as though they had got over the disappointment of last week's defeat.

Dalziel 1st XV 10 v 27 Whitecraigs
Dalziel travelled to Whitecraigs having narrowly won the last three encounters between the clubs and new that today would be a tough one. And so it proved.
