Dalziel 1st XV 43 v 13 Morgan Academy
On a perfect day for running rugby Dalziel took to the field confident that they could improve on the previous weekends winning start to the season. The opponents today were Morgan.

From the kick off Dalziel began to dominate territory and possession and on 7 minutes from a poor Morgan clearance kick Craig Simmonds ran the ball back, interpassing between Crawford Reid and Ross McAulay say the ba...

Dalziel 1st XV 11 v 10 Dumfries
Dalziel started the 2010/11 season away to Dumfries on Saturday and returned up the M74 to Motherwell with the spoils.

The game was never the greatest to watch but the travelling support were encouraged by the amount of possession the Dalziel lads had throughout the match. On numerous occasions the Motherwell lads lacked composure when in possession and had to make do with a Robert Simpson penal...

Although out scored by five tries to two, Dalziel played superbly and man of the match, Andy MacLaren kept them in touch with four penalties and one conversion.

Dalziel 1st XV 44 v 3 Ellon
In the last five days of a long but enjoyable season, from Annan to Aberdeen, Dalziel traversed the length and breadth of Scotland in their quest to complete an undefeated Scottish Hydro Electric League programme.

With seven unanswered tries at each of these two far flung venues, their mission was successfully accomplished!

Their visit to Third placed Ellon was a very obvious ‘banana skin’, ...
