Dalziel 2nd XV 33 v 5 Currie
Dalziel 2nds travelled to Edinburgh on Tuesday night to play a rearranged National 2nd XV League fixture against Scotland’s top placed club, Premier 1 Currie. On a fine evening the Motherwell boys set about their task and produced one of the finest performances I have seen in many years

Dalziel 1st XV 79 v 25 Livingston
On a good day for running rugby Dalziel took to the field knowing that two victories from their last three games would give them the league title, and in front of a large home crowd they set about getting the first of these against Livingston on Saturday.

Dalziel 2nd XV 24 v 7 Hamilton
With the 1st XV game called off all eyes turned to the 2nd xv derby against Hamilton. Next season all senior teams will be playing Hamilton on league duty and on a warm sunny afternoon Dalziel set the bench mark for next years encounters

Dalziel 1st XV 16 v 30 Greenock Wanderers
Dalziel travelled to Greenock on Saturday determined to keep their unbeaten record in place and make their way to Murrayfield. What followed on a sunny afternoon at Fort Matilda was a great performance by the Greenock men and Dalziel returned back to Motherwell to reflect on their performance.

Dalziel 1st XV 32 v 6 Glasgow Academicals
Dalziel continued the winning season with a fine performance at Anniesland.They travelled to the Glasgow Club knowing that it would be a tough afternoon but were full of confidence

Dalziel 1st XV 45 v 7 Langholm
Dalziel travelled to Langholm on Saturday with a large support knowing that two points would promote the Club to Premier 3 and achieve the first goal of the season.

Dalziel 1st XV 77 v 0 East Kilbride
This local derby has in previous seasons been a close match and Dalziel had during the week prepared for it, what they produced in the following 80 minutes was a master class in how to play positive attacking rugby.

Dalziel 2nd XV 8 v 15 Cartha Queens Park
The second XV traveled to Cartha this evening to play a rearanged fixture. Both teams agreed it would be a double header and Dalziel had the chance to move up to fourth place in the league.

Dalziel 1st XV 55 v 14 Edinburgh University
Emerging from the big freeze Dalziel kick started the quest for promotion against old foes Edinburgh University. In front of 200 hundred fans they could not have asked for a better start. Within 5 minutes they were 7 to 0 up after an Edinburgh error allowed John Harris to picked up the loose ball and pass to Gillon Duguid who raced between the posts, converted by Robert Simpson.

Dalziel 2nd XV 34 v 14 Kirkcaldy
With the 1st XV game at Annan called off due to a frozen pitch, the club’s focus changed to the 2nd XV game against Kirkcaldy. The loyal Dalziel fans made the trip up the M8 to Fife confident in seeing the team maintain their excellent season.
