Delightful Dalziel Defeat Old Foes Howe: DRFC 39 HOF 11
The Heavens opened over Britain this weekend and Motherwell was no exception, as the Dalziel Park surface was subjected to a heavy downpour on & off throughout the afternoon, for the game against Howe of Fife. The Dalziel boys were looking to bounce back after a defeat to local rivals Hamilton last week, and, in relation to league standings it was vital for the Motherwell boys to secure a win.

Dazzlers v Cumnock
On a day best suited to Ryder cup golf the 3s looked to get back to winning ways against Cumnock. With the injury list growing and players unavailable due to work the 3s drafted in under 18 duo Euan Watt and Darren Moon for their senior debuts. Dalziel 1st XV 24 v 37 Hamilton
Dalziel arrived at Leigh Bent to play the first game on Hamilton's new pitch. It was a perfect day for rugby and both sets of supporters were anticipating a great match. They were not let down by the two sides who from the kick off played a high intensity game

Dalziel v Musselburgh
Dalziel hoped to get back to winning ways at home to Musselburgh on Saturday and from the kick off looked as though they had got over the disappointment of last week's defeat.

Dalziel 1st XV 10 v 27 Whitecraigs
Dalziel travelled to Whitecraigs having narrowly won the last three encounters between the clubs and new that today would be a tough one. And so it proved.

Dalziel 1st XV 43 v 13 Morgan Academy
On a perfect day for running rugby Dalziel took to the field confident that they could improve on the previous weekends winning start to the season. The opponents today were Morgan.

Dalziel 1st XV 11 v 10 Dumfries
Dalziel started the 2010/11 season away to Dumfries on Saturday and returned up the M74 to Motherwell with the spoils.

Dalziel 2nd XV 24 v 31 Melrose
Dalziel 2nds completed their league programme with a close encounter at the Greenyards today, Sunday 9th May.

Although out scored by five tries to two, Dalziel played superbly and man of the match, Andy MacLaren kept them in touch with four penalties and one conversion.

In the last five days of a long but enjoyable season, from Annan to Aberdeen, Dalziel traversed the length and breadth of Scotland in their quest to complete an undefeated Scottish Hydro Electric League programme.

Dalziel 1st XV 43 v 0 Annan
