This is an auction in aid of funds for the tour by the Dalziel Rugby Club Mini’s Section, P7 squad to participate at a Minis’s rugby tournament being held at Stockport Rugby Club just outside Manchester. The P7 players are primary school age boys and girls mainly between the ages of 11 and 12 years, and this is one of the final activities they participate in before they move up to Secondary School and move up to Midi section rugby.
On offer is a pair of tickets to the Ravenscraig Burns Supper at Colville Park Golf and Country Club, Jerviston, Motherwell, on the evening of Friday 25th January.
This is a prestigious Burns Supper, for which there are no tickets available to buy, all 320 places are fully filled and usually attendance is by invitation only..
There have been many famous and infamous speakers at previous suppers, such as Tony Blair, John Reid, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (his armed body guards in attendance) with the supper even having been mentioned in Hansard.
