| Gentlemen, the annual golf outing takes place at Royal Carnwath on Friday the 24th of May. Slight changes this year. To keep the cost of the outing down we are now meeting at the Carnwath clubhouse at 7.45am prompt. There will be no bus so please arrange your own transport. The cost of the outing will be £50. SATURDAY marked the 23rd annual Dalziel Festival of Youth Rugby - attracting teams from all over Scotland and beyond.
Some 40 clubs, including a touring side from Northern Ireland, participated in the showcase tournament which is dedicated to the memory of late club stalwart, Alan Calder.

| The club are delighted that he has been able to come to our 23rd Youth Festival, particularly when he has so many other commitments. It is a measure of how much a rugby man Alan is, when he is just back from speaking at Linlithgow Rugby Club last night, attends Dalziel this morning, Lasswade Rugby Club later in the day then has to travel up to Aberdeen for the evening. THIS WEEKEND marks the 23rd annual Festival of Youth Rugby at Dalziel Park – promising an action-packed event for all the family.
For the fifth year running, the Festival is dedicated to the memory of the man who started it all in 1991, Alan Calder.
