Dazzlers v Cumnock

On a day best suited to Ryder cup golf the 3s looked to get back to winning ways against Cumnock. With the injury list growing and players unavailable due to work the 3s drafted in under 18 duo Euan Watt and Darren Moon for their senior debuts. Both players did not look out of place and as the game progressed the youngsters grew in confidence so much so that Euan scored a hat trick of tries. Along with Niall (serge) McKenzie grabing a couple and one for John Kerr, this was a far better performance than the previous two weeks with much of the play in both halves being played in the Cumnock half. Sustained pressure reslulted in the final try being a penalty try with Davie Stewart kicking two conversions.

The 3s look as if they can now push on and get back on track and try and play the way in which we had started the season. Next week we have a local derby away at Waysiders, so again we will have to lift our game.
