S2s Return to winning ways at Hamilton
After the previous defeat at the hands of Currie, Dalziel’s S2s roared back to form with a convincing victory over near neighbours Hamilton.

Fielding one of the stongest selections of the season so far, the visitors took the game immediately to Hamilton scoring five tries in the opening period . Touchdowns went to Jack Roberts (3), Murray Boyd and Ross Mitchell.

The next period followed a similar pattern with Hamilton proving more difficult to break down . Dalziel managed three more tries courtesy of Iain Davidson, Ross Mitchell again and Josh Clarke.

In the final period two more scores were added thanks to Allan Bowles and Jack Roberts again.
Andrew Glover and Connor Curran popped over four conversions between them making the final scoreline 34 – 0.

A thoroughly convincing display by Dalziel with their forward’s rucking game really beginning to flourish and the pace and passing play of the backs coming to the fore. Special mention must be made of Nicky Devine as “man of the match” for his commitment in the tackle and powerful rucking game
